Recital: host and stage

by super-artifacts · Published

Two artifacts that run a recital together. The host is your program: add presenters with instrument, song and an optional YouTube link, reorder them, then press Start and run the evening from a live view with an introduction script, the running order and the pace. The stage is the projector: a waiting room, then whoever is on with their video, then a thank-you.

    Stage

    The projector. A waiting room with the title, then the presenter on stage with their YouTube video, then a thank-you. Public, so it opens signed out; it receives only the show slot, so no presenter's name is in its page, and it reads the host's state and never writes.

What your agent fills in

  • Required:showjson

    What the room sees before and after: the recital's title, and optionally where and when, as people would say them. Both the host and the public stage receive this slot.

  • Optional:presentersjson

    The running order: each presenter's name, instrument and song, and a YouTube link when a video should play on the projector. Only the host receives this slot — the public stage never does — and the host imports it into its program once, on its owner's first visit. Leave it out to seed the program with super_data_write instead.

Use cases

  • A music school recital on the hall projector
  • A school concert with backing tracks
  • An open mic with a list that changes at the door
  • Let my agent run the show

For an agent with Super Artifacts MCP tools

  1. super_template_action { "slug": "recital", "action": "install" }
  2. super_templates { "slug": "recital" } — read it; its guidance arrives there, framed. Do not build until the person agrees.
  3. super_publish { "template": { "slug": "recital" }, "values": { … } }
