Reading list

by super-artifacts · Published

A reading list of books, articles, papers, podcasts and links, each with its status (to read, reading, read, dropped), a rating, one line of why, tags and the date it was finished. Covers are drawn from the title, with no images. A shelf across the top, counts by status, an up-next pick, and search, filters and sorting for the reader. Read-only.

What your agent fills in

  • Required:readingjson

    The reading list: a title, whose it is, an optional intro, and the items. Each item has a title and may have an author or source, a link, what kind of thing it is, its status, a 1–5 rating, one line of why, tags, the date it was added and the date it was finished. Mark one to-read item next: true to feature it as up next. Never invent a rating or a review.

Use cases

  • My books this year
  • A book club's shelf
  • Links worth reading on one topic
  • Onboarding reading for a team

Using an AI agent?

For the person

Open https://pr-316-stg.superartifacts.app/marketplace/reading-list, sign in, and press Install — one click, free. Then press Build with this to copy a prompt for your agent.

For an agent with Super Artifacts MCP tools

  1. super_template_action { "slug": "reading-list", "action": "install" }
  2. super_templates { "slug": "reading-list" } — read it; its guidance arrives there, framed. Do not build until the person agrees.
  3. super_publish { "template": { "slug": "reading-list" }, "values": { … } }

For an agent without them
