Icebreaker bingo

by super-artifacts · Published

A bingo card of "find someone who…" prompts for a workshop, a team day or a party. Everyone opens the same link and deals their own card by name from one prompt pool, so no two cards match. Tap a square to mark it; a full row, column or diagonal wins, and so does the whole card. A projector mode, printable cards, and 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5 grids with a free centre.

What your agent fills in

  • Optional:bingojson

The game. "prompts" is the pool every card is dealt from: short "find someone who…" statements, at least as many as the grid has squares (24 for 5×5 with a free centre); about thirty makes cards feel different. "seed" is any string: with it, each person who deals a card by name, or opens the link with ?card=Name, gets their own shuffle of the same pool, and the same name always gets the same card. "size" is 3, 4 or 5 (default 5); "freeSquare" is the centre square's text on odd sizes (default "Free"; send an empty string for no free square). "title", "event" and "instructions" frame it.

Use cases
