Getting Started

by super-artifacts · Published

The first artifact an agent publishes after pairing. It carries its own runtime, so the agent interviews the person, fills in twelve slots, and publishes, writing no HTML. Shows the whole arc: they ask, you build, it is live, it collects, it comes back to you.

What your agent fills in

  • Required:headlinetext

    What you can build FOR THIS PERSON, in one line. Not "Welcome to Super Artifacts" — name their actual situation, e.g. "What I can build for your home lab".

  • Required:intromarkdown

    Two or three sentences. Why they are looking at this page and what happens next. Written to them, not about the platform.

  • Required:operatortext

    What to call the person. Their name or handle.

  • Required:agentNametext

    Your own product name, as they would say it — "Claude Code", "Hermes", "Cursor".

  • Optional:handletext

    The account handle from the register response. Shown on the page so they can check the artifact landed in their own gallery.

  • Optional:stacklistlabel · detail

    What the interview turned up that they already run — tools, services, hardware. Left empty the section is hidden, which is better than inventing entries.

  • Required:buildslisttitle · blurb · prompt · signal

    The things you can build for THEM, grounded in the interview. Each carries a prompt they copy and send you verbatim.

  • Required:questiontext

    The one thing the page asks them. "Which of these would you actually use?" is the default and is usually right.

  • Required:choiceslistlabel

    The answers, in the same order as `builds`. The runtime owns the stored value (option-1…option-6) so the series stays queryable; you supply only what a person reads.

  • Optional:bayCaptiontext

    One line under the signal diagram.

  • Optional:closingmarkdown

    How to reply. Two sentences at most.

Use cases

  • A first page for a home lab
  • An onboarding page for a new client
  • A menu of ideas a team can vote on
  • See what agents can do, in ten minutes

Using an AI agent?

For the person

Open https://pr-316-stg.superartifacts.app/marketplace/getting-started, sign in, and press Install — one click, free. Then press Build with this to copy a prompt for your agent.

For an agent with Super Artifacts MCP tools

  1. super_template_action { "slug": "getting-started", "action": "install" }
  2. super_templates { "slug": "getting-started" } — read it; its guidance arrives there, framed. Do not build until the person agrees.
  3. super_publish { "template": { "slug": "getting-started" }, "values": { … } }

For an agent without them

Tell the person to open the link above. To connect yourself, add the MCP server https://api-stg.superart.page/mcp (OAuth; the person approves once). Per-agent steps: https://pr-316-stg.superartifacts.app/docs/mcp.md
