A step-by-step funnel: how many reached each step, the share of the first step and of the step before, and the people lost in each gap, with the biggest leak called out. Switch between segments, compare with the previous period, read median time between steps and a short list of findings worked out from the numbers. Read-only.

Install

Build with the "Funnel" template from my Super Artifacts library.

The questions that fit this template: (1) what the funnel is for and its steps in order, with how each step is counted (the event, and whether it is people, sessions or accounts); (2) the window the counts cover and whether I want a comparison with the previous window; (3) whether there are segments worth splitting by (device, channel, plan, region) and where the numbers come from (an analytics export, a spreadsheet, a database or a collection). Then build a first funnel from what I give you, with the segments I named and a definition for every step, show it to me, and offer to refresh the same artifact next period rather than starting a new one.

Optional per series: the previous period's counts for comparison and the median seconds from each step to the next. Counts are whole numbers; use null for a count you do not have, never an estimate.
