A control-testing page that shows what was checked, by whom, and when, with the evidence right beside each claim: document references, log excerpts, screenshots, table extracts and links. Exceptions carry a severity, an owner and a due date. A summary bar, status and area filters, a sign-off block, and a print layout built for archiving to PDF.

Install

Build with the "Audit trail" template from my Super Artifacts library.

After installing, offer me three concrete things you could build from this template right now, one line each, drawn from its use cases. Build nothing until I pick one.

Once I have picked one, ask me briefly: (1) what was reviewed and for which period (an access review for Q3, a SOC 2 control set, a month-end close checklist); (2) where the results and evidence live now: a spreadsheet of test results, exported logs, screenshots, ticket links; (3) which roles tested, reviewed and signed off, and the dates; (4) the overall conclusion in my own words. Build the first trail from what I give you, with one entry per control stated as a claim that is either true or not. Put the evidence against the claim it supports, and write every exception with an owner role and a due date. Show me the draft and ask me to confirm each status and date before you publish. An audit record with a wrong date is worse than none.

The audit record. "title" and "controls" are required. The header uses "organisation", "scope", "period" {from, to} (YYYY-MM-DD), "preparedBy" (a role), "reference" and "conclusion" {status: effective | effective-with-exceptions | not-effective | incomplete, text}. Each control is a claim: "statement", "status" (verified | exception | not-tested | not-applicable), "checkedBy" (a role), "checkedOn" (YYYY-MM-DD), "method", "sample", "note", "evidence" (kind document | log | image | table | link) and "exceptions" {title, severity, owner, due, status}. "signoff" lists roles and dates, never signatures. The page never reads the clock: send "asOf" (YYYY-MM-DD) and open exceptions past their due date are marked overdue. Text fields accept inline markdown: **bold**, *italic*, `code`, [links](https://…).
